Little Silver Country Hotel
Little Silver Country hotel is an elegant Tudor-style house set within its own landscaped gardens in the lovely Weald of Kent. It retains all the warmth and charm of its origins, whilst providing a range of 21st century comforts. The cosy 40-ft long oak beamed sitting room has blazing log fires in winter.
Breakfast, light lunches and tea are served in the orangery overlooking the spectacular gardens. These include well kept lawns, graceful statuary, herbaceous borders, a pond and waterfall and a Kentish lych-gate. Some of the 16 traditionally furnished bedrooms have four-poster beds; suites have luxury bathrooms and whirlpool baths. The boutique-style Platinum Suite on the top floor has won accolades for its round bed and contemporary design.
The well-appointed restaurant offers a good selection of dishes concentrating on local ingredients. The octagonal Kent Hall, built in the style of a Kentish oast-house, makes a unique wedding venue. This picturesque hotel is well placed for visiting the many National Trust gardens, houses and castles in the area with the medieval town of Rye and the city of Canterbury within easy reach.
The M20 and Ashford International Station, with high speed rail links to Europe, are also nearby.

Hotel reviews
January 2012 : Recent one night stay in room 14 for birthday celebration. Very impressed with room facilities but felt the decor was a little dated. Juliet balcony with lovely view of gardens and very large contemporary bathroom made the room feel extra special.
December 2011 : I stayed at this hotel on Saturday 17th December 2011 when I attended a Christmas party night there. The room was stunning, we had a large four poster bedroom with a jacuzzi bath which was very plush and comfortable. The hotel was clean and beautiful.
November 2011 : Found by mistake, what a great place to stay. Food excellent, room 1st class and staff second to none.
