The Brickwall Hotel
The Brickwall Hotel is set in the heart of 1066 country, overlooking the pretty village of Sedlescombe. Originally built in 1597 for the local Ironmaster, the hotel offers a warm welcome and is privately owned and run by a friendly team of experienced staff.
There is a spacious residents lounge, oak panelled bar and beautiful beamed dining room as well as the Garden Room Conservatory which is ideal for private parties and meetings. Particular attention is paid to the quality and variety of food served, with local produce used wherever possible. The hotel has a variety of rooms, all with private facilities, including standard and executive doubles/twins, four-posters, junior suites and ground floor rooms, many of which overlook the hotel garden or across the village.
The heated swimming pool is open May - September. The local area provides a wealth of places to explore. The beach at Camber Sands is some 10 miles away. The Brickwall is a peaceful spot, with plenty to see and do in the area.

10/04/2009 (2 night stay): The staff were very accommodating and polite. The food was excellent. We went on a bright sunny dy and sat on the patio with drinks from the bar. Truely excellent! We will go back and make use of the outside pool.
