Tre-Ysgawen Hall, Country House Hotel & Spa

Reached along a private wooded drive, Tre-Ysgawen is set in acres of landscaped gardens and woodland a short drive inland from the breathtaking East coast of Anglesey.

The house has been sympathetically and luxuriously refurbished and extended to become one of the leading country house hotels in North Wales.

Bedrooms in the main house are individually designed and decorated in traditional period style while the rooms in the courtyard wing are more modern.

Tre-Ysgawen Spa, built and equipped to the highest standards, was converted from the Victorian stables and retains many original features including the Clock Tower.

Facilities include a 16m level-deck pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, beauty/therapy suite and air-conditioned gymnasium. For the less energetic the Clock Tower Café/Wine Bar is adjacent. Tre-Ysgawen provides the perfect environment for a luxury break for both mind and body.

09/02/2010 (3 night stay): A treat to stay at a period mansion whilst away on work. Staff were very helpful. Food was delicious. Spa facility was an added bonus and well worth spending time unwinding. I am thinking of re-visiting next week with my children whilst they are on their half-term break.
