St Tudno Hotel
Situated at the far end of Llandudno's fine promenade, opposite the pier, St Tudno is one of Wales' leading hotels and has won many prestigious awards. Owner Martin Bland and his charming and efficient staff make guests feel instantly at home.
The Terrace Restaurant has outstanding murals of Lake Como and Italian-style decor. Chef Andrew Foster has built the restaurant's reputation up to being one of the best in Wales, with plaudits from Clarissa Dickson-Wright and Bill Bryson, among others. Excellent bar meals are also available at lunchtime and the number of locals who rendezvous for this is evidence of their popularity.
The lounges have a Victorian theme with comfortable chairs and restful colours.
Bedrooms are individually decorated, the ' suites' on the front being the most comfortable. Special touches include Villeroy & Bosch china, bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries. Alice Liddell, better known as Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, stayed here in 1861. St Tudno is ideally situated for visits to Snowdonia, Conwy & Caernarfon Castles and Bodnant Gardens.

12/08/2009 (4 night stay): Fantastic hotel, great service and a very comfortable room. The highlight was the food - absolutely amazing - we were both bowled over with the service and the quality of the cuisine. Simply the best. The location of the hotel is excellent and a great base for exploring the town.

20/10/2009 (3 night stay): I did not think one could find such high quality service and attention to detail like this in the UK. I stayed there 3 nights on business and it was a wonderful, homely retreat. Trouble is I've recommended it to so many colleagues and friends, they'll probably be fully fully booked!
