Palé Hall Hotel
Palé Hall is a delightful discovery for the discerning visitor – a lovingly restored Victorian country manor set in refreshingly tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Queen Victoria herself warmed to Palé’s welcome during her visit in 1889 and her bed and bath is still in use today. The present family owners are proud to maintain the Hall’s great tradition of hospitality. The elegance and grandeur of Palé remain unchanged while the amenities have been discreetly enhanced to the highest standards. We are sure Her Majesty would have approved.
Each individually apointed bedroom overlooks the grounds and bathrooms have been refurbished. Palé Jewellers, based at the hotel, is a small but personal business devoted exclusively to Welsh gold jewellery from Cymru y Metal and Clogau Gold.
The Hall lies in an unspoiled area of lush valleys and gentle hills, making it a paradise for many outdoor activities: fishing, shooting, riding and mountaineering. Lake Bala is the largest natural lake in Wales (4 ½ miles long) and it is the only habitat of the trout-like gwyniaid. A steam railway runs alongside it.

Hotel reviews
December 2011 : I stayed here in early November on my way to visit my daughter at Uni and found the hotel fantastic in every way. I travel a lot all over the country staying in lots of hotels and there is no doubt that this is a very warm and cosy hotel to stay in…one of the best I have experienced.

September 2011 : Pale Hall is unique. A magnificently restored and updated Victorian country house offering a charmingly formal alternative to the bland corporate managed hotels. We stayed there for a special birthday weekend as a group of friends with classic cars and enjoyed wonderful tranquility, excellent food, and attentive hospitality from owners Judith & Saul Nahed.
