Wolfscastle Country Hotel
Wolfscastle is a friendly country house hotel and restaurant, formerly a rectory, situated between Haverfordwest and Fishguard, just off the A40.It is still known locally by its original name Allt Yr Afon (‘Hill by the River’). It is excellently located for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast and National Park, the Preseli Hills and St David’s – Britain’s smallest cathedral city. Tregwynt Woollen Mill and a number of craft and pottery workshops are also nearby.
Bedrooms, which have all recently been refurbished, are either in the old ’rectory’ part of the house or in the more modern extension to the rear of the building.
Recently a smart new Reception Area has been added at the front of the hotel. Wolfscastle's location and hospitality make it popular for conferences and weddings.
The hotel has been family run for more than 30 years and the owner, together with their AA earning chefs Owen Hall and Alex George, have almost 100 years’ combined experience of running Wolfscastle. Good food, fine location, comfort and warmth of welcome will guarantee a memorable stay here.

May 2011 : The room was immaculate and the staff very helpful. They even allowed us to check in very early on the first day. The food is excellent with a really good dining atmosphere. You should try the handmade fudge – what a treat!
