The Craigellachie Hotel was built in 1893 and is located within the beautiful village of  Craigellachie near Elgin. The Craigellachie Hotel has 26 en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has been decorated gracefully and homely to enhance the character of each room. Their master bedrooms and mini-suites offer some of the most beautiful views of the surrounding areas including the River Spey, world famous for its exceptional salmon fishing and the famous Thomas Telford Bridge built in 1814. Style in the bedrooms and reception rooms is plush country house - with Highland touches.

The famous Quaich bar has over 700 malts to choose from and has been exhibited in New York, Chicago, Paris, Berlin and Leiden. The bar has won the prestigious Glenmorangie Hotel Bar of the Year award and the hotel's Ben Aigan Restaurant has been awareed AA rosette for 13 consecutive years. Head chef has won Grampian Chef of the Year and the Spirit of Speyside awards. The malt whisky trail is on your doorstep with 52 distilleries around the area and the hotel can normally let salmon rods on the Spey.

Craigellachie is also the home of the Speyside Cooperage where the local coopers make the casks for the exceptional whisky. The Speyside Way passes directly in front of the hotel and links the Moray Coast with the edge of the Grampian Mountains. It is one of four official long distance routes in Scotland.
