Rothay Garden Hotel

Situated on the edge of picturesque Grasmere village - 'the jewel of the Lakes' - and nestling in two acres of riverside gardens surrounded by majestic fells, Rothay Garden is the perfect choice for a relaxing break in the Lake District.

Owned and operated by Chris Carss and his dedicated team since 1990, the hotel has this year opened a new Garden Restaurant, a delightful Riverside Spa and some of the finest bedrooms and suites in The Lakes.

All with designer bathrooms, some are on the ground floor, all enjoying excellent views over the nearby fells, many with their own patios or balconies. The AA Garden Restaurant is a destination in its own right, with its contemporary furniture, clean elegant lines, 140-bin wine list and great views overlooking the hotel's gardens.

The kitchens are managed by Head Chef Andrew Burton, one of only 300 Masterchefs of Great Britain. The new Riverside Spa was opened in 2011 and offers guests an exclusive facility including hydrospa, herbal pine suana, aromatherapy, monsoon showers and an amazing Reflexology Walk. The ideal place to chill out and relax.
