Bedford Lodge Hotel
Bedford Lodge Hotel was originally an 18th century Hunting Lodge, built for the then Duke of Bedford. Since 1940 it has been the premier hotel in West Suffolk, equally popular with business guests, the racing fraternity and leisure guests looking for a romantic or weekend break.
The hotel sits in three acres of mature gardens and its racing connection is displayed in a wide variety of local artwork in the hotel and also by the hotel's collection of racing silks. Named 'Suffolk Hotel of the Year' in 2007 and Runner Up in 2008 and 2009, Bedford Lodge Hotel retains the charm and character of a country house, whilst offering every modern comfort and luxury.
Facilities include gym, indoor pool and AA rosetted Orangery Restaurant. Riding, fly fishing, off road activities and falconry can be arranged, with the famous National Horseracing Museum is also on the doorstep.
