Talland Bay Hotel
This is the hotel in Cornwall you've been looking for, five minutes from the coastal path and close to gorgeous uncrowded beaches, beautiful harbourside villages and a blissfully relaxed pace of life.
The position here is magical. First you plunge down rollercoaster lanes, then you arrive at this delicious hotel. Directly in front, the sea sparkles through pine trees and an old church crowns the hill. There are two acres of lawns and gardens and the land drops down to the bay. Renovations have been done magnificently, breathing new life into this old hotel.
There's a Brasserie Bar, a roaring fire in the half panelled dining room and bedrooms that take your breath away. Masses of art hang on the walls; there are vast sofas, polished flagstones, and a gravelled terrace for alfresco dining.
Follow the coastal path over the hill and then return for a dining experience you'll never forget. And so to bed in rooms that will pamper you rotten. Expect rich colours, vast beds, beautiful linen, the odd panelled wall. Dogs with well behaved owners welcome, our two garden cottages are perfect for our four legged friends.
