01/05/2011 (1 night stay): Excellent value through Groupon. Very pleasant stay. Food was great and spa facilities lovely. Rooms a little dated and signs of wear but perfectly adequate.

November 2011 : My husband booked the Springfield for a short UK honeymoon. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, chatty and couldn't do enough for us. We used the spa every day and they also have an excellent pool and snooker room. We stayed for breakfast and evening meal and it was some of the best food we've ever had in a hotel.
November 2011 : We've based ourselves at the Springfield four times now over the last 2 years whilst running our David Noton Photography Jurassic Coast Workshops, and we'll be going back again next year. The hotel & spa facilities are excellent, the staff are welcoming and the food is superb.
November 2011 : Stayed just for one night for a getaway, swimming pool was of nice size. Food was excellent, and this is coming from a very picky boyfriend! The staff there were very friendly and welcoming.
