Situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean, Three Choirs Vineyard is a delight to visit in any season. It produces over 250,000 bottles of wine per year from the 100-acre vineyard which straddles the Gloucestershire / Herefordshire border. Nestled in an area of remarkable beauty and tranquillity, the vineyard enjoys a low rainfall and warm climate, perfect for growing the grapes which have produced some of England’s finest single estate wines since 1975. The eight very comfortable and well appointed bedrooms have stunning views, each with its own terrace. The award winning restaurant serves an excellent menu with the emphasis on locally produced food to accompany the wines. In summer you can dine al fresco on the terrace and in winter an open fire burns. A tour around the vineyard, winery and shop is a must. You can see the presses, fermentation tanks and bottling line. A video presentation tells the story of both wine and beer making, and you can take away a souvenir of a memorable stay.
