There has been an Inn at Fossebridge, in a dip on the Fosse Way between Cirencester and Northleach, for more than 300 years but never has it been so comfortable and welcoming as Robert and Liz Jenkins have now made it. Bedrooms have been upgraded and each is named after a nearby Cotswold village - Burford, Tetbury, Moreton-in-Marsh etc. AA
food is served daily in the traditional rustic bar area. Leading French chef Damien Dupuis produces mouthwatering dishes. There is a private dining/meeting room which can accommodate up to 50 and in the grounds a charming lakeside cottage, refurbished to a similar high standard, which can accommodate 10 on a self catering basis.
The Inn's Georgian windows overlook four acres of garden and lake, which are the haunt of kingfishers, herons and swans. The Inn has become a popular wedding venue for both the ceremony and celebrations - inside for a smaller reception or a marquee in the garden for a larger one.
The Inn is well placed for visiting Cirencester, Stow and the many attractions of the Cotswolds.
You are welcome to bring your pet to the hotel, for a fee of £10.
