Prince Rupert Hotel

Once the home of Prince Rupert, King James 1’s grandson, the hotel is tucked away in the 16th century heart of England’s finest Tudor town. The royalist dining room which features an inglenook fireplace and authentic suits of armour is quiet and has a cosy intimate ambience. More relaxed dining is available in The Chambers brasserie or La Trattoria authentic Italian restaurant. Bedrooms are individually designed, many with original exposed beams. The hotel’s 12th century Mansion House suites were recently refurbished under the auspices of English Heritage. Free valet parking is available to our private car park.
