The King's Head Inn is beautifully set on the village green of an achingly pretty Cotswold village (frequent winner of the Bledisloe Cup Best Kept Village Award). Cosy bedrooms are either in the 15th century part of the inn or in the courtyard. The comfortable bedrooms have been thoughtfully decorated and have flat screen TVs, coffee & tea making facilities and their own bathrooms, upgraded with tongue-and-groove woodwork, better lighting and power shower heads. The bar has an inglenook fireplace, high backed settles and a great atmosphere. The food has earned an excellent reputation. Aberdeen Angus beef comes from the family farm in Fifield, fresh fish is delivered daily from Brixham, Devon and vegetables are sourced locally from Evesham. Whether you go for a snack in the bar, eat a la carte from the enterprising menu or go for one of the blackboard 'specials', you will be well satisfied. The owners have also recently taken on the lease of the nearby Swan in Swinbrook.
