Hart’s Hotel opened in 2003, the first contemporary chic hotel to open in this popular university, lace and light industrial city in the East Midlands. The building was designed by architect Julian Marsh and later won an RIBA award. Interior decor is by Tim’s wife Stefa. Tim Hart also owns Hambledon Hall on Rutland Water and Hart’s Restaurant, adjoining the hotel and already known as one of the best eateries in town. Bedrooms are clean and modern, goose down duvets and pillows ensuring a good night’s sleep. Most have fine views over the park towards Nottingham University. The Park Bar, in the hotel itself, serves breakfast, light snacks and a fine selection of wines by the glass. Unusually for a town hotel, Hart’s has parking for its guests. It is located in the professional area of the city, within walking distance of the Playhouse Theatre, the castle and the main thoroughfares.
You are welcome to bring your pet to the hotel, for a fee of £5.
