In the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, one of the prettiest Cotswold villages, is The Dial House, a 17th century mellow stone small country house hotel. The cosy, beamed restaurant enjoys an excellent local reputation and has been awarded two AA rosettes for cuisine. In winter log fires burn in the public rooms.
