Dark Barn Lodge is an unusual property: it is based around a restored 16th century barn just six miles form Gloucester and on the banks of the river Severn. Most of its 18 contemporarily furnished bedrooms are ground floor and grouped around a pretty courtyard. Dark Barn is popular for wedding receptions, parties and conferences. There is a self-contained cottage, sleeping up to eight and a bridal suite. The hotel has two private fully stocked fishing lakes as well as river frontage, with decking catering for all weather. Clay pigeon shooting is available all year round.
