ABOUT BARNSDALE LODGE HOTEL

Overlooking Rutland Water, this former 17th century farmhouse is an idyllic retreat for anyone wishing to escape. Lovingly restored Barndnsdale Lodge is located to the north of the market town of Oakham; market days Wednesday and Saturday. En suite bedrooms offer complete relaxation; 2 specially designed for disabled guests and many offer panoramic views south over Rutland Water.

Conferences and product launches, wedding receptions and private parties are catered for.

Viciente at Barnsdale offers beauty therapy, treatment and relaxation with a new beauty therapy team providing the ultimate in relaxation and pampering.

There are a wealth of activities on and around Rutland Water including sailing, windsurfing or cycling around its perimeter. Geoff Hamilton’s Barnsdale Gardens are close by and the market towns of Uppingham and Stamford; market day on Friday.

28/08/2009 (1 night stay): We would just like to say we had a wonderful stay for our friends sons wedding which the staff and the service were very good as was the food as there are very few hotels that are doggy friendly we found the facilities to accomodate Anna as well as our selves far above our expectations .thank you for a stress free stay .
