Thorpeness Hotel Golf & Country Club

The Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club overlooks idyllic gardens. Built a century ago in this holiday village, famous for its mock Tudor houses, ‘windmill’ and meare, it’s a good centre from which to explore the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The function room seats 40 and is perfect for smaller weddings or meetings. Meals are available throughout the day in the Patio Bar. The restaurant offers a selection of contemporary dishes, complimented by seasonal and local produce. The golf course is a challenging 18-hole heathland course, playable year round. Indoors world golf courses can be played on the simulator. Other activities on offer include snooker, tennis, cycling or boating.. After a day of golf or sightseeing, guests can relax on the terrace drinking in the views and be looked after by helpful, friendly staff. The hotel also lets apartments in the village, some overlooking the beach.
