A warm welcome awaits travellers at The Rutland Arms, as it has since 1651. This former coaching inn at the centre of Newmarket is built around a cobbled courtyard. Many Jacobean features remain, although the comfort and atmosphere is most definitely that of today. Fine English and Continental cuisine is served in the restaurant, whilst informal dining is available in the more relaxed Nell Gwynne Bar. The Rutland Arms is the perfect centre from which to visit Tattersalls in the town, as well as the cities of Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds.
