ABOUT PENDLEY MANOR HOTEL

Pendley Manor stands in 35 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside, quiet and self-contained, yet less than one hour’s drive from Central London. This splendid late Victorian manor was refurbished and re-opened as an hotel in 1989. It boasts a number of gracious, large rooms and a spectacular hall, with a suspended staircase and gallery. Outside peacocks roam amongst ancient cedar trees in the landscaped gardens. Pendley’s sporting and leisure facilities are second to none, with a heated swimming pool, gymnasium, spa bath and Collin Spa. Outside tennis, buggy riding, laser shooting, archery and hot air balloon rides are available. Once arrived at this ‘resort’, there is really no need to leave. You can imagine it is a popular spot to ‘tie the knot’ or to have a business conference or special dinner. The AA Rosette Oak Restaurant serves English and French cuisine to a high standard. Our Table d'hote menu is £27.50 per person and Sunday lunch is £22.50. Private dining and prestigious meetings can be held in the Verney Room.

09/02/2010 (3 night stay): Stayed mid week. Staff were very accommodating when I asked for a late check out. Twin room was large. Relaxing stay, quiet pool area and attentive French waiter at breakfast.

13/11/2009 (2 night stay): This is a fantastic hotel boasting itys very own family of peacocks to greet you as you drive in. The hotel is impressive and the breakfast is probably the best we have had. We also had the swimming pool and jacuzzi to ourselves!

14/11/2009 (3 night stay): A large hotel set in a quiet countryside location, the property is of a baronial type of grandeur. A well run hotel with professional and caring staff. Good food and drink, we definitely will be staying there again!
