Pendley Manor Hotel

Pendley Manor stands in 35 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside, quiet and self-contained, yet less than one hour’s drive from Central London. This splendid late Victorian manor was refurbished and re-opened as an hotel in 1989. It boasts a number of gracious, large rooms and a spectacular hall, with a suspended staircase and gallery. Outside peacocks roam amongst ancient cedar trees in the landscaped gardens. Pendley’s sporting and leisure facilities are second to none, with a heated swimming pool, gymnasium, Jacuzzi and Clarins Spa. Outside tennis, buggy riding, laser shooting, archery and hot air balloon rides are available. Once arrived at this ‘resort’, there is really no need to leave. You can imagine it is a popular spot to ‘tie the knot’ or to have a business conference or special dinner. The AA Oak Restaurant serves English and French cuisine to a high standard. Private dining and prestigious meetings can be held in the Verney Room.
