Formerly known as Fritton Old Hall, Fritton House has 15th century origins and was thought to be an inn for smugglers and sea traders. It has been skilfully converted with larger bedrooms, with spacious bathrooms, on the first floor and smaller beamy rooms on the second floor. They are all stylish and comfortable, having top of the range beds with goosedown pillows, duvets or eiderdowns and blankets, TV / DVD and internet ports. Fritton House sits on the edge of Fritton Lake with Fritton Country Park next door, a great environment for children. Other attractions on the estate include Somerleyton Hall, the Dukes Head, a pub in the same ownership, and miles of footpaths and bridleways for the more energetic. A great discovery on the Norfolk / Suffolk border.
