04/03/2010 (3 night stay): The hotel is positioned extremely well in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. The hotel itself is really fab, the room I stayed in was gorgeous; comfy, very large bed with large separate bathroom. Bathrobes are provided alongwith refreshment tray and water. Lovely lounge to relax in with open fire, quirky furniture and books on art. The restaurant was fantastic, extremely good food and fairly priced. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

17/11/2009 (1 night stay): Slightly austere room with high ceiling and no-view window, but everything worked. OK for business traveller. Reception staff excellent and we much enjoyed the cellar restaurant - great food and atmosphere.
