WIN prizes worth over £100 from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust!
To celebrate the grand opening of Shakespeare’s New Place in July, we’ve teamed up with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust on a fantastic competition worthy of the Bard himself!
New Place was William Shakespeare’s family home in Stratford-upon-Avon from 1597 until he died in the house in 1616. Although the house was demolished in the 18th century, the site has remained a registered park and garden cared for by the Trust. To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s legacy, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust has transformed this historic garden into a major new heritage landmark, where visitors can get acquainted with Shakespeare in the prime of his life.
The grounds where his house once stood have been re-imagined into a contemporary and beautiful garden that allows visitors to walk in Shakespeare’s very footsteps. They can also discover all there is to know about Shakespeare’s family life at New Place in an incredible new exhibition featuring rare artefacts discovered during recent archaeological digs on site.
This exclusive prize includes a five house family pass worth £69.50 (2 adults & up to 4 children) that gives you entry to all five of Shakespeare’s Family Homes including Shakespeare’s New Place. The winner will also receive a copy of Jackie Bennett’s new book - Shakespeare’s Gardens, as well as goodies from the exclusive Shakespeare Inspired range.
To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize package, all you need to do is answer the following question:
Q: For how many years did Shakespeare live in New Place?
a) 18 years
b) 19 years
c) 20 years
