Located in extensive grounds in the centre of the island, the original farmhouse building dates back to the 15th century. It has been totally renovated to provide first class facilities. From arrival to departure it is clear that staff pride themselves on giving a professional approach balanced with friendly service, putting their local know how to good use in a warm, informal way.
Spacious bedrooms, with excellent bathrooms are finished to a very high standard and equipped with the latest technology. Rooms come in three categories: boutique, superior and suite. The Farmhouse offers five individual dining areas. In the summer guests may also dine by the swimming pool on the terrace or in one of the gazebos. An experienced brigade of ten chefs provides international cuisine to a very high standard, using, where possible, fresh local, organic and fair trade produce. A resident pianist plays at weekends, often abetted by local or visiting musicians. The function facilities are first class, be it for a wedding, business meeting or conference, ranging from gazebo to 120-delegate room. The hotel can also arrange after dinner entertainment in the form of professional speakers, dinner dances or jazz evenings.
