The Farmhouse

Situated in the heart of the island between the Little Chapel, the Gold and Silversmiths; The Farmhouse, originally a working farm, has been totally renovated to become a leading boutique hotel with a contemporary feel whilst having the location normally associated with a country house hotel. The terraced dining area overlooks approximately 2 acres of grounds which include mature formal gardens, large lawns, gazebo's, heated swimming pool, and a terraced dining area. In the owners desire to care for the environment they have dedicated part of the grounds to a wild flower meadow, part to grow wild, and erected bird boxes to encourage wildlife.

The hotel has four boutique, six superior and four suites all equipped to a very high standard which one associates with contemporary luxury hotels including marble tiled under floor heated bathrooms with deluge showers, some rooms having balconies and others freestanding baths within the bedroom.

Dining at the Farmhouse with its five differently styled dining areas offers a culinary experience not be be missed, the Head Chef Ankur Biswas and his team having recently been awarded an AA rossette. Whenever possible locally grown and organic produce is used.

First class function facilities are available making The Farmhouse a great place to hold a small private meeting, conference or wedding aside from being a place to relax and unwind.

10/01/2010 (2 night stay): Speaking as someone notoriously hard to please .. everything most excellent... well done the Farmhouse.
Basic room was a good size with likewise beds and first class refurbishment, lighting, air-con, etc. etc.

12/02/2010 (3 night stay): Lovely room which features as a picture on some promotional literature used by the hotel. Very nice only small drawback in what is a romantic room and with a lovely bathroom with a bath which is perfect for two people is the fact that the taps have been placed at one end which stops the bath being used by two!
