Attractions in Somerset

Somerset is a county of contrasts, with rocky Exmoor to the West, together with the gentler Quantocks, Brendon Hills and Blackdown Hills and the limestone Mendip Hills and Cheddar Gorge to the North-East.
Bristol is the largest city in the West of England and was a former capital of England.
The docks are an area of great interest. East of Bristol is the Roman city of Bath (Aquis Sulae) with its elegant Georgian terraces, good restaurants, theatre and shops.
