Attractions in North East

Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland – fiercely independent counties which make up the North-East. Yorkshire includes two National Parks, The Dales & the North Yorks Moors. Northumberland’s border lands have high moors, ragged cliffs, sandy beaches and Roman remains. The dynamic city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne divides it from County Durham with its fine cathedral and castle and moors in the west.
